Frequently Asked Questions
Helpful answers about product setup, compatibility, connection, usage, and support.
Does the TUTT S10 require driver installation?
The TUTT S10 does not require driver installation when connected through a laptop’s native video output, such as full-featured USB-C or HDMI. However, if you are using the included H5 USB to HDMI converter cable, DisplayLink driver installation is required. After installing the driver, please restart your laptop if the second screen does not activate immediately.
Why is one screen working but the second screen is not displaying?
This usually happens when the second screen is not receiving both video signal and stable power. For the best setup, connect one screen through a full-featured USB-C port and connect the second screen through HDMI with separate USB-C power. If your laptop does not support USB-C video output, use the included H5 converter cable and install the required DisplayLink driver.
What is a full-featured USB-C port, and why does it matter?
A full-featured USB-C port supports both power and video output. This is different from a regular USB-C port, which may only support charging or data transfer. If your laptop’s USB-C port supports Thunderbolt, USB4, or DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can connect one screen directly using USB-C. If not, you may need HDMI or the included H5 converter cable.
Why does the screen show a blue connection screen or no signal?
A blue connection screen or “No Signal” message usually means the monitor has power but is not receiving a complete video signal. Please confirm that the cable is connected to the correct HDMI/DP port, usually the red-marked port, and make sure the screen is also powered through USB-C. If you are using the H5 cable, install the DisplayLink driver before testing again.
What is the recommended connection setup for best performance?
For best performance, connect the first screen directly to your laptop using a full-featured USB-C cable. Then connect the second screen using HDMI for video and USB-C for power. Although power may sometimes come from the laptop, an external power source is strongly recommended for the second screen during longer work sessions to maintain stable display performance.
