TUTT™ Manufacturer Defect Warranty Overview
TUTT™ / TakCan Inc. does not sell, offer, underwrite, administer, or provide any additional warranty, extended warranty, product protection plan, accidental damage plan, insurance product, or third-party service contract.
This page provides a general overview of how eligible manufacturer defect requests may be reviewed for TUTT™-branded products purchased through authorized sales channels. It is intended for customer-facing clarity and compliance only and does not create any additional warranty, service plan, refund right, replacement guarantee, or protection coverage beyond the applicable manufacturer defect review process.
Additional Warranty Purchased from a Marketplace or Third Party
If a customer purchased an additional warranty, extended protection plan, product insurance, accidental damage coverage, or service contract from Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, a marketplace seller, a third-party provider, or any other platform, the customer must contact that platform, seller, insurer, or service-plan provider directly.
TUTT™ / TakCan Inc. does not sell or manage those third-party warranty or protection products and cannot approve, cancel, refund, activate, modify, replace, or service coverage purchased from another company, platform, marketplace, seller, or insurance/service-plan provider.
What a Manufacturer Defect Generally Means
A manufacturer defect generally means a verified issue in materials or workmanship that existed because of the manufacturing process and appeared under normal, intended use during the applicable review period.
Manufacturer defect review is not the same as a return policy, refund policy, satisfaction guarantee, accidental damage plan, compatibility guarantee, upgrade program, or extended service plan.
What May Be Reviewed
- Possible material or workmanship issues under normal, intended use
- Possible internal non-display component concerns unrelated to damage, misuse, or excluded conditions
- Possible factory assembly concerns supported by clear evidence
- Eligible claims from authorized TUTT™ sales channels with valid proof of purchase
What Is Generally Not Covered
- Accidental damage, drops, impact, pressure, bending, liquid exposure, or environmental damage
- LCD, LED, OLED, touch display, backlit display, or any visual display panel used in portable monitors, digital calendars, digital photo frames, smart displays, or similar screen-based products
- Cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, discoloration, normal aging, or normal wear and tear
- Software, app, driver, account, cloud, network, or third-party service limitations
- Compatibility issues involving laptops, phones, tablets, cables, chargers, adapters, hubs, or accessories
- Display-panel symptoms such as screen pressure, dark spots, lines, flickering, no image, colour distortion, or similar screen conditions
Display panels are highly sensitive parts and may be affected by small impact, pressure, storage stress, transportation movement, handling, mounting pressure, or other external conditions. For this reason, LCD, LED, OLED, and similar image-producing panels are excluded from the manufacturer defect warranty by the manufacturer.
If a Display Panel Issue Is Found at Delivery
If a product is received with a visible LCD, LED, OLED, touch display, or visual display-panel issue at the time of delivery, the customer must contact TUTT™ support within 72 hours of delivery and provide the order number, delivery information, clear photos, and video evidence showing the product condition, packaging condition, and reported screen issue.
When reported within this 72-hour delivery window and supported by clear evidence, TUTT™ may review the case separately as a delivery-condition issue and may arrange a replacement or other appropriate solution where applicable. This delivery review is separate from the manufacturer defect warranty and does not extend display panel warranty coverage after delivery and initial inspection.
How Requests Are Generally Reviewed
Customers may be asked to provide proof of purchase, order number, product model, serial number or product label where applicable, photos, videos, setup details, cable and power information, connected-device information, and troubleshooting history.
TUTT™ / TakCan Inc. may perform an initial administrative and evidence-based review. Where a technical manufacturer-level review is required, the case may be referred to the manufacturer or an authorized inspection process. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval, replacement, refund, repair, credit, upgrade, prepaid shipping, or free service.
Legal Limitations and Applicable Canadian Consumer Rights
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable federal, provincial, and territorial law, this overview does not create, expand, sell, or modify any warranty, extended warranty, protection plan, insurance product, service contract, refund entitlement, replacement guarantee, or automatic remedy. Any warranty-related review is limited to the applicable written manufacturer defect review process and the terms expressly provided by TUTT™ / TakCan Inc. or the applicable authorized sales channel.
TUTT™ / TakCan Inc. reserves the right to request reasonable evidence, verify proof of purchase, review product condition, confirm the purchase channel, assess whether the issue falls within an excluded condition, and reject or close requests that are incomplete, unsupported, misleading, inconsistent, abusive, outside the applicable review scope, or not supported by required evidence.
Nothing in this overview is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any legal rights, statutory warranties, implied warranties, or consumer protection remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Canadian federal, provincial, or territorial law. Where such non-excludable rights apply, they apply only to the extent required by law.
Summary: This page is a general customer-facing overview only. It does not replace the full warranty policy, product-specific warranty terms, marketplace rules, return policy, delivery-condition review process, or any non-excludable legal rights under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws.
