Overall good experience, fairy fast shipping, calendar is easy to use for my kids with quick setting. The app is free and fairly easy to navigate. Note: still trying to connect and sync my yahoo calendar.

I have grown accustomed to having multiple monitors on my desktop systems so having a way to attach an additional monitor to a laptop peaked my interest.The mounting "frame" fits on my 15" laptop well enough to have the monitor stationary and easy to adjust without it walking away or needing additional surface space to have the monitor. The 15" laptop is running Win11 and it identified the monitor and allowed me to set it up simply and without difficulty.I also experimented with an older 17" laptop which I currently have running Kubuntu (Current LTS Stable) as the OS. Plugging it Kubuntu found and installed the monitor simply and I was able to set up how I was viewing without difficulty. This is not the system I plan to use the extender with, particularly since the frame wouldn't fit the 17" monitor size. I was looking to see if it would be friendly on a Linux system and it was.A note for using with a laptop is in portable/battery mode you are going to be cooking through your battery much faster with an added monitor. If you can plug in for use or regularly it runs for quite a while before eating down the battery. This will vary with your system. On my 15" the monitor was close to the draw of the initial monitor. On my 17" the monitor draw was appreciably less then the standard monitor draw. So each will be different, but it will add substantial battery drain.

I had this product for about 3 months It’s such an awesome expansion of screen to my work laptop daily working fields for spreadsheets or maps. It arrived well packaged, and had a good customer support for installation.

Great product, functions as intended. great support from TUTT technician, very knowledgeable and professional. I had initial issues with connecting as my laptop is a bit dated, but with the use of HDMI port and HDMI USB hub I managed to connect both screens. advise for buyers - make sure you have thunderbolt ports on your windows PC, it will be much easier in use. thank you.

Quality: very lightweight and can be used in multiple positions, portrait and landscape.

Screen and resolution: our expectations met. It’s not 2k or refresh rate is 60 as stated on listing.

My last point: not recommended for gaming. My son used it with PlayStation not happy. Gaming should be min 100+ refresh rate.

I’m not very tech-savvy but needed another screen for my trading setup. The single-cable connection made it simple, and support guided me patiently through the first setup. The display is bright, and the lightweight design makes it easy to move around my desk. It’s been running smoothly since, even on my older laptop.

I joined the TUTT reviewer program in November 2024, and this is the third portable monitor I’ve received as a free sample to review. The S8Ultra is much better than the earlier ones—it’s lighter, the colors are sharper, and even though it’s made of aluminum, it still feels sturdy. For me, it’s a 5-star product, but I’m leaving 4 stars to stay fair and unbiased as a sample reviewer.

I mainly bought this because I wanted a digital calendar and photo frame without paying another monthly subscription. That was honestly one of the biggest selling points for me.

The screen quality is surprisingly good for a 15.6” display. Photos look clean and sharp, and the touchscreen feels responsive enough for everyday use. I mostly use it in the kitchen area to keep track of family schedules, appointments, and reminders.

What I ended up liking more than expected was the Wi-Fi photo sharing feature. Family members can upload photos remotely, so it constantly updates with newer memories instead of feeling like a static frame.

The overall design also looks much cleaner and more modern compared to many digital frames I looked at before. It blends nicely into the room instead of looking like a cheap tablet sitting on a counter.
