Frequently Asked Questions
Helpful answers about product setup, compatibility, connection, usage, and support.
Will the TUTT S7 Pro triple screen extender work with my MacBook M1 or M2?
Yes! The TUTT S7 Pro is fully compatible with MacBook M1, M2, M3, and M4, as well as Windows and Linux laptops. For MacBooks using USB-C, simply plug the included USB-C cables into your laptop and the S7 Pro. If your MacBook only has Thunderbolt ports, use the included USB-C to Thunderbolt cable. With some versions, you may need to grant 'Screen Recording' permissions to the Tutt extension in your System Preferences during driver installation—just follow the on-screen setup instructions.
How do I set up the TUTT S7 Pro on my laptop for the first time?
Setting up is quick! Place your laptop into the TUTT S7 Pro frame, connect the screens either side, and use the included USB-C or HDMI cables for connection. For USB-C connections that support video, just plug both ends in – no extra power needed. If you use HDMI or the H5 converter cable, install the provided driver (instructions and links come in the box). The monitor will walk you through 7 viewing modes, so you can pick the arrangement that works best for you.
Can I use the S7 Pro portable monitor with devices other than laptops, like my Nintendo Switch or phone?
Absolutely! The TUTT S7 Pro FHD portable monitor is compatible with most devices that have USB-C or HDMI output, including gaming consoles like Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox, as well as tablets and smartphones that support DisplayPort Alt Mode or HDMI out. Use the appropriate cable (USB-C, HDMI, or the H5 converter) for your device. Just make sure your phone or tablet supports video output for screen extension.
Is this triple laptop screen heavy or difficult to carry around?
Not at all! The TUTT S7 Pro is designed for portability. It’s made of lightweight aluminum, the screens are detachable, and it comes with a protective carrying bag. The whole setup is slim and easy to tuck into your backpack or laptop bag, making it perfect for travel, the office, or working from coffee shops.
What should I do if the screens aren’t working or detected after setup?
If your TUTT S7 Pro screens aren’t displaying properly, double-check all cable connections—make sure the USB-C or HDMI cables are connected securely. If you’re using the H5 converter cable, download and install the latest driver from Tutt’s website (instructions in the package). For troubleshooting, try restarting your device and using another port. If you still have trouble, reach out to TUTT’s responsive support team; customers rave about their quick replacements and warranty help.
